Processed POs, Ordered Materials, Packed Kits, Shipped and Invoiced Over $1.3 Million
After a short time in my current position, I was given the added responsibility of managing all the purchase orders for Motion Express from receipt of order to shipment and invoicing. I was also put in charge of purchasing, inventory and vendor negotiations. I have been able to save the company a significant amount of money through price reductions and improved lead times by creating long term blanket purchase orders to provide an inventory stocking structure with vendors. I have also gained a significant understanding of what it takes to run a kitting / manufacturing business.
